Anthony Mitchell is a seasoned policy professional with experience in government affairs. He has held leadership positions in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, overseeing chapters across the United States, South Africa, United Kingdom, Germany, and Asia. Anthony’s passion for shaping policy and addressing inequalities led him to roles in local government, including the Executive Office of Mayor Muriel Bowser (D.C.), positions in the United States House of Representatives and Senate, and Senior Policy Manager at Lyft. He currently serves as vice president of federal affairs at AHIP, an American political advocacy and trade association of health insurance companies that offer coverage through the employer-provided, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid managed care, and individual markets. Anthony is committed to giving back to his community and ensuring equitable access to resources and opportunities.
