Anthony Mitchell is vice president of federal affairs at AHIP, a national trade association representing health insurance providers across employer-based, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid managed care, and individual markets. He has worked in both local and federal government, including roles in the Executive Office of Mayor Muriel Bowser, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the U.S. Senate. Mitchell previously served as senior policy manager at Lyft and has held leadership positions in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, overseeing chapters across the United States, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Asia. He is dedicated to equity and community service, working to expand access to resources and opportunities through his professional and volunteer efforts.
