Assistant Clinical Professor: Undergraduate Programs Coordinator, School of Public Policy, the Pennsylvania State University
The School of Public Policy at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for an Assistant Clinical Professor (Undergraduate Programs Coordinator) to be a full-time, non-tenure-track member of the faculty. Primary responsibilities include the development, planning, and implementation of a noncredit NextGen Service Academy for undergraduate students, as well as coordinate and conduct recruitment and program support for the undergraduate programs in the School of Public Policy (SPP), including the minor and any other programs to be developed in the school.
Specific duties include:
Develop, plan, and implement a noncredit NextGen Service Academy for undergraduate students in coordination with the Undergraduate Studies Committee, school leadership, and the Volcker Alliance.
Represent SPP at Volcker Alliance/NextGen meetings and conferences, and provide status reports to the SPP leadership.
Develop, promote, and implement recruitment events, communicate with students, and leverage resources in SPP for the program.
Serve as primary liaison with undergraduate schools and programs across Penn State. Present the program to student groups, classes, and school/department administrators and advisors, ensuring marketing materials are created and distributed.
Coordinate program approval, curriculum development, and recruitment initiatives.
Advise students in the minor as well as prospective students. Advise and provide administrative support to undergraduate student groups.
Ensure program quality and coordinate assessment of the program.
