at 12:00 p.m.

Join us for the first event in the School of Public Policy’s Fall Speaker Series on Thursday, September 16 at noon in 369 Willard Building. Emily Pakhtigian, assistant professor of public policy, will present “Sustaining Latrine Use: Peers, Policies, and Sanitation Behaviors.”

Emily Pakhtigian is an environmental and development economist who studies human-environmental interactions, with a particular focus on low- and middle-income country contexts. Her recent research includes work to understand the processes by which households adopt and use environmental health technologies, the health and educational consequences of ambient air pollution exposure, and the economic implications of water resource management.
