Naveen Parmar is a seasoned public policy professional and tax lawyer with more than two decades of experience in government and the private sector. He currently serves as a principal at Mehlman Consulting, where he advises clients on legislative strategy and economic policy. Parmar previously served as chief counsel to Senator John Hickenlooper and held senior positions with the Senate Committee on Small Business, where he guided the Paycheck Protection Program and other relief efforts during the pandemic. His legislative career also included policy roles with Senator Amy Klobuchar and Congressman Lloyd Doggett. Parmar spent five years as assistant vice president of government relations at Nationwide Insurance and earned a J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans and an LL.M. from Georgetown University.
