Naveen Parmar
Naveen Parmar is an experienced public policy professional and tax lawyer who has held senior roles in the House, Senate, and private sector. He has advised Congress on economic, legal, and tax issues with a focus on small business policy and fiscal matters.
Before joining Mehlman Consulting, Naveen served as Chief Counsel to Senator John Hickenlooper, helping establish the Senator’s office and shaping his economic policy agenda. He also worked with the Committee on Small Business as Tax Counsel and General Counsel during the pandemic, providing critical guidance on relief efforts like the Paycheck Protection Program.
Previously, Naveen spent five years as Assistant Vice President of Government Relations at Nationwide Insurance, where he engaged with lawmakers during the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. He earned his BA from Penn State, a law degree from Loyola University New Orleans, and an L.L.M in Taxation from Georgetown University.
