Chanell Autrey is director of government affairs for Target Corporation, where she leads government affairs strategy for the Mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes regions, covering ten states. She previously served as senior manager of government and community affairs at Starbucks, as senior director of government affairs for Monumental Sports and Entertainment, and as counsel for the Council of the District of Columbia. She began her career as an assistant public defender in Baltimore. Autrey earned a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School (2012) and serves on the boards of DC Justice Lab and the DC Appleseed Center.
